I created a blog 2 years ago, posted a couple of times, and then just let it go. I am motivated to return to this by my son's interest in creating his own blog/website, and the realization that I do like to share my ideas and concerns. That doesn't mean that anyone wants to hear them, but such is life.

I think that I will try again to make this blog a place to come for thoughts and reflections. If nothing else, maybe it can help me get away from the boob tube and mindless websurfing, and engage in thought that actually means something. Over the days and weeks to come, I want to think and write about things that matter to me, to my country, to my church, and above all, to my family. It may be the frivolous, like entertainment and computers, or matters of great importance, like entertainment and computers.

Either way, I want to be sure that everything that I do and say is grounded in the faith that I have received from God, and done in the joy that He has placed in my life.

So, we will see where this takes me/us. Wish me happy blogging.
